Greetings all. Further to my recent quest for advice re. AWI excursions in and around New York, does anybody have on file Barnet Schechter's detailed walking tour of the AWI sites? The website that once housed this appears to have been shut down. Does anyone, for instance, have a pdf of this resource tucked away somwhere? The notes at the back of the book are minimal.

I was just at one of the NYS battlefields this weekend – Fort Montgomery, which is just down the Hudson from West Point. I found some literature from NYS about AWI historical sites in the Hudson River area. Here is a link to the NY State Parks historical sites:

Thanks to you both. Some interesting information there, particularly for Brooklyn.

I am still hoping that someone has reference to Schechter's tours of all the Long Island and Manhattan AWIsites.
