As I understand it, many people didnt like the death of Warhammer Fantasy. What do they play instead? |

Kings of War, though I never played WHFB. I gave WHFB an honest look since the fantasy army I was building was mostly made of old Warhammer and Battlemasters Chaos figs but the price of entry just for books and the mountain of rules made me pass it by. I'm loving KoW and really looking forward to trying out my army with the chaos army'ish list in the "Uncharted Empires" supplement which seems to have lists for all the WHFB armies they didn't already have proxy rules for. We're also continuing to play Song of Blades and we've recently taken of Dragon Rampant for Platoon'ish sized skirmishes. |

I play both 9th age and 6th edition WHFB. Kings of War isn't my cup of tea, but it did become quite popular after the 'death' of Warhammer. |

I had 2 groups that were trying Age of Sigamr. I was playing with a logistically scattered group of longtime friends. The northern half stopped being available for AoS due to conflicts from family and RPGs. The southern half of us tried Kings of War a few times successfully. Then those players started being unavailable as well and one eventually moved north. I dropped out as I started doing terrain for D&D and didn't have time. The others all switched to Malifaux. The local game store I am in touch with dabbled with AoS then forked briefly. Half got into Kings of War and the others stopped playing fantasy battle. Then the non-players found Ninth Age and the KoW players joined. |

My FLGS is still playing WFB 8th – we have 7-8 very active players, most with multiple armies, at least 5-6 show up consistently every week. |
