Alongside my Scrivsland blog I also write a travelogue with Victoria. Usually it would be of no interest to gamers, but last week we visited the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site while road-tripping in South Dakota so you may enjoy this write-up.

Nice. There is also a museum site south of Tucson. Does the US have any active land based missiles any more? |

Yeah. Last count I think was 450 Minuteman III's, each with 3 MIRV's per missile. |

That brings back memories of my time under the ground at Whiteman AFB, good and not so good. |

Visited the site south of Tucson years ago, got an individual tour and turned one of the keys! Fascinating and creepy in equal measures. Also was used for the interior bunker scenes in Star Trek 1st Contact. |

It is a Titan silo that is south of Tucson. They do a good tour. |
