Russian 'Bagaderan' Guards in Persian Service. The figs are a mix of AB, Essex, Khurasan, Irregular, Minifig and conversions from the spares pile.

I left some men in Russian uniforms, shako, bicorne etc to give them a scruffy look, and to differentiate them from Sarbaz units. The few pics of Russians in Persian service show them in the usual fur hat.

The standard is an interpretation based on infantry flags and how the unit facing colours might be incorporated into the design.
