Gents, We put on another ‘big' game this time with the Operation Sealion theme. We used the new Bolt Action second edition rules and call them a success, as was the battle. 6 players, 6 bolt action armies in play…lots going on! Check it out…hope you enjoy. Cheers Happy W wp.me/p1YrZG-QG link |

That is one great wargame report, an amazing table layout and photographs. Oh, the wargame room is wonderful too! What was the reason you chose that particular part of Sussex to base your game in? Is anything written and available that provides detail of a probable attack there? I have read a couple of articles on Op Sealion but they don't get down to specific areas of attack, they were much more general. I would be interested in where you got your information from, or did you generate it yourself. All very nice. I'd like to something similar. Big thanks. |

Thanks gents. There are principally two books to get on this topic that deal with a specific scenario and how it all plays out. They are written by Kenneth Macksey and Martin Evans. They go into a good amount of detail based on the real German war plans. Highly recommended. Invasion: The Alternate History of the German Invasion of England link and
