Well IM shocked 'none' have commented, but to each their own.

First off, the table and layout look amazing. (hats off to you). My second surprise was to read this was done in 28mm, at first glance I was sure with so many 'troops' surely, the game had to be 15's.
They look outstanding. 28mm is my favorite scale, somewhat sadly my first 19th century interest was the Anglo-Zulu war. But the more AAR's I read and so many variying mini's I see in the Sudan period, Im thinking I may have chosen the wrong 'theater' or war.

After all, as Larry Brom (TSATF) put it, (but in my own words) with the Zulu wars, if you dont 'bend' history, there's really no excitment (or point) in gaming the period. With their tech advantage in weapons, 'at least' 9 of 10 games its pretty much a given the Britih will win before the first die are rolled.

Since seeing "The Charge of the Light Brigade" in my youth, Ive had a love for the Bengal Lancers, they look great on a 'battlefield'.

As for the 'machine gun' rule: after thinking about it. I really liked the way it worked. A bit 'quirky' you say, perhaps, but it does have a bit of logic too it as well.
The more rounds fired, it only makes sense you push a greater risk of the weapon jamming.

I would like to know Who made the miniatures? Im sure most if not all are metal. Im one of those 'plasitic fanatics'. )
If only they had such variety in plastic, i.e., Lancers, Camel Corp., Naval..etc. etc.
Perrys Mahadist set has always been a temptation to me, and now with them releasing the British units for the Afgan wars, and their promise of more to come, its not helping.

Great game, thanks for posting the pics. Im curious to see more.
