Heroscape: Road to the Forgotten Forest

It's a terrain expansion for Heroscape, but will non-Heroscape gamers be attracted by the trees?

The Lion Rampant and Pig Wars games look amazing. Anyone know who makes those castle walls?

Looks like some fun games on splendid tables. I particularly would have enjoy participating in the Sudan game.

Thanks for sharing.

TSD101,

Thank you for the compliment! We had a fantastic time running the games and were really happy with the outcome. MBA is currently running their Castles 2 Kickstarter, which includes the castle pieces from their first Castles Kickstarter, which is how I got my hands on the terrain. They were at the show and had preview copies of what they are offering, you can check them out in our video we put together: YouTube link

Game Well!

Between running my booth and my game on Saturday, I managed a few shots of the game, The Bear and the Lion, the Battle of the Alma. Here are the shots in photobucket. Excuse some of the close-ups which I also upoaded here.

Wonderful photos.

Connotation, there were actually three Sudan games pictured and all were great fun. I was lucky enough to be in two of them.

NCC1717, great pics! Thanks for recording all the awesome games. I had a blast playing in great games and seeing my friends. The games mentioned above were really great. "The Bear & The Lion" table was huge with approx 1,500 splendidly painted figures.

There were actually (4) Sudan games this weekend, all highlighting Last Stand Dan's awesome gunboat creations. Check out his blog for AAR's and How To tutorials.

Also check out Bill's link above for pics of his fantastic figures and the table.

My only regrets of the weekend, well besides it being over too soon, is missing out on playing several of the games by my favorite GM's and friends.

Thanks to all the HMGS-South BOD members and volunteers who hosted another great con. Thank you to all the members and attendees for running great games and making it an awesome weekend. As special thanks to those who traveled from afar to join us down south.

I second SgtGuinness' comments. In fact, for the first time in YEARS I was unable to play in one of his games when it conflicted with the one I was running! But whats great is RECON 2017 is coming up 27-30 April and am sure he already has a scenario in mind.

NCC1717 thanks for all the photos and a chance to relive the weekend again and again and again.
