"English King Henry VIII had been busy with more than beheading wives during his reign of England, which came to an end in January 1547 when he died. Although his primary focus had been directed at mainland Europe, securing the border with the Kingdom of Scotland in the north had been high on his agenda as well, if only to secure his back for his planned operations in France. The border between the two countries had not been settled properly and there were regular instances of cross-border raids and attacks from both sides. King Henry, well-versed in using marriage as a political tool, had hoped to achieve a political union with Scotland, by marrying his son, Edward, to the young Mary, Queen of Scots…"

Good find Armand. I wish I could find out more on the make up of the English army for the battle. Plus, I really wish that TAG would add Demi Lancers to their Tudor range….. |
