Here is my review of the USS Hood from Star Trek Attack Wing: link
Hope you enjoy it! |

Thanks for the review. This is another example of a fairly mediocre model. I was really interested in Attack Wing until I was able to see the actual models. Very underwhelming. Mark |

To be fair, they are getting better with the later releases. |

I hated the weird scale variations. Would it hurt to get ships all the same scale in a range? |

To be fair, they are getting better with the later releases. I'm not a painter, even of simple star ships, so I usually am at a loss when seeing folk do repaints of most of the ships, but that one definitely needs SOMETHING! ;->= Thanks for the review, isd. Doug Edit: Sorry, just remembered:
Would it hurt to get ships all the same scale in a range? Would in some cases, but, in the main, they didn't even try. Other side is, there are getting to be enough sources in enough scales, if you're careful to watch for deals on the OOP lines, to mix and match to close-to-same-scale. |

Just getting around to looking into ST AW, to be honest (as w most games lately) the 'per ship cost keeps me away from 'whats hot off'. First Im a bigger fan of ST TOS. Recall the 1st time I saw the "Constitution" for the game ('that small and how much?") The Excellsior has alwasy been a favorite, but this one, a bit 'bland' visually. It looks like it was molded and painted the same color, only using lighter or darker variations of the base color. |
