This is truly horrible. He sounded like a fascinating man. I take it that South Africa is still suffering from very high crime. I thought that maybe things had improved in recent years, but I guess that the problem still persists. |

is wrong with people, (and I use the term "people" loosely)… SO damn SAD. RIP, Sir. I hope they catch & torture the SOB's who did this to him. The World is really becoming a sickening place. And fast… |

South Africa is and has been one of the most dangerous countries on the planet not at war. Trust me I've been there. Very sad and disgusting news. |

One hopes his family will find a Zulu shaman and have these men cursed. |

Great idea Shagnasty…send a Tokoloshe to get them. |

What a horrible story. I feel useless fury and terrible sadness. |
ITALWARS | 22 Sep 2016 5:36 p.m. PST |
very sad and horrible new… reading also the sad end of his menthor it's difficult to think that there are 'nt some similarity.. The SA Govt. have to seriously envisage a protection programme or some serious mesures to stop those crimes |
GreenLeader | 22 Sep 2016 10:58 p.m. PST |
The really sad part is that, with 50 murders a day in South Africa, this tragedy will soon be just 'another statistic'. |
Durban Gamer | 23 Sep 2016 4:22 a.m. PST |
Terribly sad news indeed. Words fail me. |

Yeah thanks Western World for the liberation. Now the populo indigena want every thing free, why? Because that's what they were promised, now they're angry because the shamoliticians can't give it to them (check out SA local news). Yeah thanks for the liberation through sanctions, similar to that regime change stuff the western pundits love. Good decent guys getting the stuffing punched out of them because law and order is not a high factor like it used to be, but corruption and anarchy seems to be in fair play. |

The end of the British Empire: Good thing or Bad thing? Ask the locals. Soon to be a spinoff TMP poll. |
ITALWARS | 24 Sep 2016 2:11 a.m. PST |
in a quite recent post find by Tango on the REAL situation of SA lead by ANC all the mess and criminal atmosphere of this former rich country was well document..oK the surces were'nt absolutly reliable…but what struck me was the isterical denial of the truth with threathning and heavy words from some people..probably interest, for some reasons that i cannot udesrtand, to defend what is really undefendable..that is the real situation of the country….so that's something to think about for all those people plus the Westerm world |

Piper909 …is not the end of the British Empire..but something still more awkward..the failed and clumsy attempt prolonge the Britih Empire |
GreenLeader | 24 Sep 2016 3:41 a.m. PST |
On the contrary, what happened in South Africa in 1948 had nothing to do with prolonging the British Empire, but was rather to install a regime that was bitterly opposed to the Empire and to everything it had ever stood for. |

yes but, as i'm referring to modern times, the "liberal" support to comunist south african party…similar to the decisive one given to comunist organisations (probably and unfortunatly the ones with main support from people due to able propaganda) in Rhodesia was'nt aonly given simply for human rights principles and to end with appartheid…but certainly to gain markets..so if you choose the worts interlocutor on the market…you have to think about your choices…i think the violence in SA is a legacy to the comunist approach and the non action of leftist menber in the Govt..racial legacy problem deriving from appartheid could have been overcome with a good and responsible intelocutor as, for ex, the King of Zulus and not the ANC…but he was'nt at all supported by the West..that's my opinion |

While stood waiting for our lift we saw a guy shot not more than twenty feet away in the city center of Cape town back in 2000, never been anywhere and felt so vulnerable as in South Africa. |
