why is that labeled "battlestar galactic?

What does it have to do with BG?

It is from the new Battlestar Galactica – it is at least very close to the look of their AA guns.

Excellent model!

Yeah. It is from the new Battlestar Galactica. She had two sets of 4 on her dorsal surface with fixed fore versions. Later ships like the Pegasus has batteries of two sets of eight on both dorsal and central surfaces as well as multiple nose fixed weapons. They essentially were dual purpose rail guns. The same guns that throw up a massive flak screen also are used to excellent effect in fighting the Cylon base stars as well.

If you have not seen the BSG reboot, you are a lucky man! That which has been watched cannot be unwatched.

Walter, BSG TOS was leagues behind the reimagined series.

Just making a cpl of observations. I guess its due to my local station bringing back BSG TOS

I can understand a bit; "you cant UNring a bell".
It took me a bit of time to get used to the character changes those really took me by surprise.
Its said "its the little things that make a big difference". To me nothng could be more true than in TOS.
There crazy futuristic 'space language' ruined the entire show for me.
If anything, I think it pushed the audience away, after all who could relate too..
"Microns", "Sectons", "Centons". For the love of God, couldnt they just say, "be there in a minute."?!
Lets not forget, "Frak","Felgergarb"?? Who talks like that.. sober?

I have to say, all in all, (when I did watch it) the Reboot 'was' what TOS should have been.
As to the reboot, Ive never really enjoyed shows when you really dont know 'the Good Guys from the'.
'Clones' cool..but confusing.

As for the ships, the Mercury class was cool. It gave us another type, I never cared for the new Galactica so much. The original will always be "my' Galactica.
