among the ones of the Commandos Argentinos it seems that some LAWs could be seen….maybe i'm wrong..never heard thet they had such weapons

That takes me back more years than I care to remember.

Probably the last war the British armed forces will ever fight on their own and not as part of a coalition.

That and the fact we actually won…a somewhat unique experience in this modern world.

thinking also at anoher recent topic…that experience…brilliant for the British as concern endurance, initiative, will ecc…(also if my simpathy went to Argentina) it's another evidence that British Army is a machine to wage war on his own and with his own peculiar style, force and endorsement of their thinking..and not an army to be dragged and diluted in someone else mess..that also want to make foreign policy in amatorial a nd indecisive manner which is not the British tradition …of course i'm speaking about NATO

Well, sort of a "quiet" coalition with the Ascension Island support and delivery of AIM-9Ls to the Fleet Air Arm.
