It's nice that someone out there is trying to provide alternate, updated models for Warp Spiders. But oh my, those ginormous heads and guns are quite simply ridiculous, even compared to the originals. Personally I won't be updating my collection (I have 30 of the suckers!)

Oh, I dunno.
Tall Helmets have always been an Eldar hallmark,
and the weapons do have a waldo arm attached to the warp generator (back-pack).
They aren't anymore over the top than any other FordyKay mechanism.


I actually quite like the Avatar, and she fits perfectly the image of the lost Phoenix Lord:

If you like your Warp Spiders closer to the original design, there are the so-called "Attercops" from Ghost Miniatures. I have a squad and they're splendid miniatures:
