The 28mm figures look great, but I really like the size and scale of 15mm, and I'm hopeful that a full range of 15mm figures will become available for the Mexican Revolution. A friend of mine has a great collection of 15mm figures for the Maximillian adventure, and I'd like to extend our Piquet battles of that era into the Revolutionary era keeping it all in 15mm.
There may not be much of a market for a full range of 15mm Mexican Revolution, but we are in the centennial now and this may be the time to do it. The Osprey Elite Book #137, The Mexican Revolution 1910-20, has a lot of color plates and photos illustrating the poses and uniforms that would be good to include in a full range of figures.
There is a photo of regular army cavalry troopers on page 26 of the Osprey book and they look just like figure MEC04 except that the horses in the photo are walking.
I saw a photo in another book showing about 100 mounted troops of Zapata's followers, the photo capturing only a small fraction of the whole column, and I'd really like to see 100+ of those figures on my game table!
Anyway food for thought …
