'When Britain declared war on the Boers'? 'When diamonds were discovered in the Transvaal'? 'All the major battles thus far had been won by the Boers'? Either this reviewer has no clue, or the book is complete hogwash. How does this crap get published. I will be staying well clear. |

Greenleader, I've started the book and you will be happy to know that the errors you pointed out must have come from the reviewer, since they are not in the book. It's quite good, actually. |

The book doesn't actually say where the Jacobs and De Beer farms were. It goes into detail about the Boer ultimatum, which it quotes. |
