He should have made it 1/60th scale. That cockpit looks to cramped for serious warfighting operations. :-) Also, at 1/60th scale, you could replace the guns with actual 0.22 caliber rifles and fire live ammo using real rangefinders and spotting. Wouldn't that be fun? - Ix |

Yellow Admiral, There's a subset of rc modelers who build naval vessels several feet in length and arm them with guns firing bb's with compressed air. The hull sheathing, I think, is made from lacquered paper and can be penetrated by the bbs. In addition to the electric motor to propel them, the vessels also have electric pumps to try to keep them afloat after receiving battle damage. They get together for meets and do battle with one another at local ponds/parks. A friend of mine got involved in this hobby after leaving living history. He's a machinist, so the modeling and engineering appeal to him. OBW |

That's more like 1/32. 1/120 would only be 5' long. Nice still. Just sayin'. |
