"Italian Company Beretta introduces its new ARX200 combat assault rifle in Africa during AAD 2016, the Africa Aerospace & Defence Exhibition which takes place near Pretoria, South Africa. The ARX200 is a new weapon system designed to meet the latest operational criteria in terms of ergonomics, lethality, accuracy and range of engagement.

The Beretta ARX 200 is a 7.62 mm x 51 NATO caliber assault rifle, designed to exceed the military standards.

The ARX 200 features fully ambidextrous controls (bolt catch lever, magazine release button, fire selector) and is equipped with an interface for the Beretta GLX 160 (40x46mm) grenade launcher, a telescopic / foldable stock as well as a complete set of rails on all sides of the weapon. The design of the gun components has been optimised in order to ensure the highest level of accuracy and reliability…"
