My wife enjoys doing her nails, and has a fine collection of nail polishes. The latest system is to put down a base color, then a bling polish, then a topcoat/clearcoat. The second step, what I call a "bling polish," is a clear or translucent polish with something embedded in it. This can be a metallic shimmer, stars, dots, dashes, color dots, even poker symbols. Which makes me wonder: Could something like this work for wargaming? Take a camo scheme. Imagine if you could paint a basecoat, then paint a 'camo paint' that adds the camo scheme? |

It's possible, but the medium would have to be fairl thick, like nail polish. Otherwise small dots of green or brown would coagulate in creases. |
