I posted this thread TMP link about Mantic's higher prices for US customers. Here is their response.
Hi AJ, Thank you for contacting us, I appreciate your concern. We do not work from the market exchange rate, we work from an internal exchange rate when pricing up items for different areas around the world. I will take your feedback and pass it onto the team and voice your concern regarding this matter. Just so it is clear there are currently no plans to change the pricing. Cause mantic are pricks? Not at all. It just seems that it should be noted that their exchange rate is higher than the current market. I will continue to buy their products from local stores, second hand and from Neal at the War Store. I guess that shows that Mantic is a sacred cow here. |

Sounds good in theory, though with all the regulations now, you'd probably get life without the possibility of parole for that. It's not like the "good old days"……… |

Meh. Disappointing but not a shock. They need to make $$ like any company. That said, that's why I look on eBay or go to the Warstore or Miniature Market for the rare Mantic purchase. |
