Maybe the Nazis were actually aliens. After all, the Invaders could transform themselves to look like human beings. When killed, their bodies would self-immolate … which is exactly what happened to Hitler.

Wow, I missed that. I used to watch the show and still have a couple of Big Little Books from my youth. One or two of them are The Invaders titles. Thanks for pointing that out.
