You'd better put a version number in the rules. I always put an auto-updating date field somewhere (e.g. on the title page), because it will always reflect the date of the last edit. It saves headaches trying to figure out which version I am currently looking at… it's very annoying to discover the one thing I forgot to prepare for the playtest was a printout of the most recent version. - Ix |
