Very cool, but not cheap, and then I have to build it.

It's truly lovely, but I can't see too many people doing this, it's just too specialized. Ships at this sort of scale, on the other hand…

Wow. You could have some great scenarios set on that. It would be good for a club to buy one and ideal for putting on games at shows. The price looks pretty reasonable for what it is.

Moonbeast15 Sep 2016 2:05 p.m. PST

I'd pick one up in a heartbeat, if I had a use for it.

A Barsoomian flyer for John Carter of Mars scenarios?

Fergal15 Sep 2016 4:00 p.m. PST

Thanks for the kind words guys. I really enjoy making grand, oddball things. I've tried to keep this as customizable as possible so you can let you imagination go and fit it into many different genres. One guy was talking about a space freighter.

and then I have to build it.

I'm hoping building it is part of the fun. I'm certainly catering to the demographic that wants to build it.

HidaSeku15 Sep 2016 4:04 p.m. PST

Very cool!

shelldrake15 Sep 2016 5:28 p.m. PST

If I could afford it I would order one right away. It is a thing of beauty.

Very limited number of people can actually back it though.

Fergal15 Sep 2016 5:48 p.m. PST

@shelldrake – I will increase the number of spots for backers as they fill up. I don't want to overcommit myself and I like to deliver when I say I will. My last project was within 2 days of going out on time and it became a real chore near the end and I rarely saw my family. This project is set for a much slower pace for me.

OMG, that could convert me to pulp gaming all by itself.

shelldrake15 Sep 2016 9:08 p.m. PST

@fergal – sounds like a good idea, and makes a lot of sense.

dormarin16 Sep 2016 1:34 a.m. PST

Hmm… what would it look like if you got two and flip one on top? Would that make it a "whole" zep?

I have a problem. I know. Very impressive work. I hope you do well. Im trying NOT to support this but it is so… right were it should be…

Fergal16 Sep 2016 7:39 a.m. PST

@dormarin – It would look like this :)

I have had many WIP pieces sitting around and tried this out.

I really like this ship, and I just had to ask myself if I would feel worse paying for it or just not having it.

So, I became a backer.
I am a big Crossover minis fan----now if I can just get my hands on a Dr. Maniac---my full blown Pulp era Hydra base ship will be unstoppableevil grin

I love it, but I think I'd need to buy a new house to accommodate it! (I'm also in the wrong country)

Fergal17 Sep 2016 8:08 p.m. PST

@Random – thanks man :). It's turning out to be a great run!

@boy wundyr – there are no wrong countries, just the US and countries with higher shipping

Its a work to be proud of and a model to envy. If I had the cash I'd have one now.

I'm surprised no one ever made an inflatable wargame zeppelin. My kids had an inflatable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles blimp with command car that cost a fraction of the MDF version.
