Excellent stuff. Without a shadow of a doubt, Crisis in the best wargames show on the calendar. Really looking forward to coming over for the event.

When I saw the headline I thought it was a tongue-in-cheek reference to Fall-In!

Great show, best outside the UK, will be flying in with a chum and with wives not too far away.

Really looking forward to this, I have missed it since moving back to UK in 2013.

I have my flight booked. Does anyone know of any bookshops with good military history departments in Antwerp?

Chokidar16 Sep 2016 2:46 a.m. PST

There is or there used to be in any case – a huge second hand bookshop near the centre – De Schlecter – perhaps our Antwerp colleagues can confirm it is still there. It was always worth rummaging away there – over the years I found real treasures both there and in the Brussels shop…

I haven't checked yet, but dearendexdekrijger.be is supposed to have a new library in Antwerp.

De Slechte is now located on the Wapper, a square adjacent to the Meir main street. And yes you can find wargaming treasures there once in a while.

The Stadsfeestzaal shopping center, also on the Meir has a bookshop with a large "interest" section at the back, with magazines, military books, Ospreys etc …

Chokidar and Patrick R

thanks for your help. My flight gets me into Antwerp fairly early on Friday so hopefully I can get to all the shops mentioned before the show.
