It seems there is not much on line about the Luxembourg Army fighting the German invasion for about two days in 1940. I am looking for photos or drawings of their uniforms and equipment. Unit organizations, numbers of troops in the army, what kinds of artillery, and vehicles they had. But I have found nothing relating to 1939-1940.

Any suggestions?

They had the equivalent of about 3 to 4 companies of light infantry and a couple of companies of police. As far as I know, they did not have any artillery. Other than a few staff cars or trucks, I would not expect much in the way of vehicles either.

The Osprey _Hitler's Blitzkrieg Enemies 1940_ says only the 2 companes of Gendarmes fought, plus some individuals from the Volunteer Companies. There's a color plate of a Volunteer, who could easily pass for a Belgian except for his collar.

Here is a picture from the Patton Museum in
Ettelbruck of the surrendering of troops to the Germans, you can see the Luxembourgish uniform is basically Belgian.

The only objection is that the Belgian uniform has 4 pockets. If I were really going to do Luxemburg troops, I might use early (WWI) war Germans, either the Brigade Games ones in greatcoats, or any of the numerous others, and headswap them with Adrian helmet heads. Apparently the Gendarmes wore a single cartridge box, similar to the Belgian WWI model. Note the Gendarme has a 4 pocket tunic, and breeches.
