I know some of the names, but am looking for actual assignments for the various campaigns from 1944.
For example, we all know Winters was XO on Dday, but who took his place as XO?
I know Welsh & Compton were platoon leaders, but which platoon? Who were their platoon sergeants?
So for Normandy (at start any way) we have:
CO: Lt Menan
XO: Lt Winters
1Sg: Evans
Who were the platoon leaders and sergeants?
1st Pltn:
2nd Pltn:
3rd Pltn:
