OK, so I bought more toy cars… This is a reminder that Hot Wheels and Matchbox toy cars cost less at Walmart – $.94 USD – than they do at Dollar Tree or Big Lots – $1 USD Today I picked up: Hot Wheels – Power Pistons – link – This is one of the two Wonder Woman vehicles connected to the new movie. Metalflake gold. Wonder Woman logo on sides. Matchbox – Turf Tilter AKA Dump Dozer – link – It's a halftrack dumptruck, but take the orange 'dumper' off and you have a nice basis for a conversion. Blue metal with orange translucent windows. Door 5mm tall. Matchbox – Wing Chiller – link – Three-ski Ice Exploration vehicle with pusher prop. Metalflake orange, white plastic. |

You have to buy a lot of cars before the difference between 0.94 and 1.00 is worth typing about. These cars are great! Sadly, though, there too big for Car Wars – you need several tables to give you enough playing space. This is only feasible at conventions. |

Yes, Dear Editor, it is! My most recent additions were a Matchbox Sahara Survivor and a Hot Wheels Dodge Ram 1500, both new in box. The Survivor series has a good Mad Max vibe, the Ram will more likely be an urban cowboy combatant. Between Dollar General, Wal-Mart, train shows, and garage sales, I've picked up over eighty cars in the last year – addiction indeed. Perry |
