Last Friday at our bi-weekly club night we played a rather fun Combat Patrol(TM) game based on fighting in Poland in 1939. See some pictures and brief text here:

Nice game and great figs/terrain

Thanks, good report and I was particularly pleased to see the Sarissa armoured train close up, it is better than I could have hoped for. At my last show, I picked up a pack of their track and a flat wagon, which look very good, but I wasn't sure how well the MDF would model more complicated pieces, they have done well.

Thanks for the kind words, folks.

Yes, the Sarissa train is a very nice kit. I was pleasantly surprised by the result, and I am not the best paper/MDF modeler in the world. I need to pick up a couple more track sets. The track goes across the table in a straight line, because that's all the track I have. A curved set and one more straight set will give me all I could ever need.

I was trying to figure out what the empty gun mount was for on the armored artillery carriage. See my blog post here: bucksurdu.com/blog/?p=5688
