So I placed an order on August 12th and paid via paypal, but no product so far. I have called twice but haven't gotten a return call yet. Been a month. I believe I have dealt with them before and they were fairly quick to ship. Does anyone know if anything is going on with the company/owner? |

I placed an order early August, it arrived last week, so I expect yours might be in transit still. |

James, Sorry for the delay. When we poured your buildings it was noticed that the molds had torn and were producing flawed castings. So they were pulled for re-molding. So far no problem, the error occurred when I failed to let you know there would be a delay. For this I am sorry. The molds are finished and are going into production today and your order will be the first one filled. Once again I am sorry for the delay. Dave Stone Mountain Miniatures, Inc. |

Excellent. I have ordered from you before with no problems, so thought I'd ask here since I hadn't heard back from you. Thanks for the quality control, I appreciate it. Worth the extra time, so no worries. Best wishes to you. |

When I worked for Dave ( in the way back machine to 1992), he was a stickler for quality. He expected it from the products he bought and he darned sure wanted his going out to be the best quality, too. (Since it was his and Risemary's name associated with them. Such attention to the details saw them receive the Origna Awards that year for their efforts! (That is a BIG honor for any minis company-especially ones that make historicals!) The mold rubber for making resin buildings/items do not have very long shelf life--especially if the design being reproduced is complex. Back then, IIRC, we expected to get 50 castings from the life of a mold. Not sure what it is in today's market with new polymers. Back then, the resin heated up to where the molds almost burned out due to hesat deterioration- 2-3 castings was all that could be risked per day without fear of destroyiong the mold. Finally, I am glad to see Stone Mountain still around. When you are hard at work trying to do it all, sometimes getting back to the customer slips by. See. Dave appologized for that. Again, signs of a great businessman and a fellow gamer who really does try to treat all his customers with due respect. No worries here HG! v/r Tom |

Great company. I had many hundreds of SM 15mm ACW figures. And as I am thinking about starting ACW again, I know I will use Stone Mountain. |

I'm glad they are still around too. Seems my thread has some upsides to it for all. :-) |

I'm happy to tell you I recently ordered some 15mm Stone Mountain artillery pieces and they arrived very promptly. It sounds like you'll be treated decently too, which is good. Jeff |

Dave: Any update on my order status? I was hoping to have the items I orders in a game for FI, but that appears to be fading. Are you still experiencing production problems for the buildings? Please advise. Thanks. |

Hmm. Going on a two month order now and no word. I hope all is alright. |

Dave: I haven't heard anything back from you so I am assuming you are still experiencing production problems with your buildings. Could you please refund my money and let me know when you have things straightened out as I'll be glad to re-order then. Thanks. |
