Battlefront is selling a new version of the M5A1 Stuart which is now molded in one piece for the chassis.

Only USD 13.00 each. Don't miss out. Get 'em while they last! Don't forget to pick up that spray can of "Sherman Drab" paint for only USD 15.00 more! Am I the only one offended by these rip-off prices? B |

PSC: 5 for USD 22 (need assembly) Forged in Battle: 4 for USD 24.59 (minimum assembly) I was hoping that the simpler model in one block of resin would be less expensive. |

Actually $20 USD for 5 PSC at NWS On-line. link So even with shipping get 5 for the price of 2 BF. Throw in you get various variants in the PSC box. |

Weren't there issues with the PSC ones though, like they were overscale? Damon. |

PSC appears to be spot on for 1/100; video review: YouTube link |

Yeah, it was the Battlefront vehicles that had scale issues. They have made them too tall to compensate for the infantry bases and the giant stack of manhole covers their metal figures are cast on. So their infantry are standing 5mm high when based so they made their vehicles taller to look better with the troops. |

Completely debunked by Evan the BF sculptor. |

The BF models I have been able to compare directly do stand taller than others. BF adds the extra height with very thick tracks and larger road wheels. Since I have the modelling disease, I'm in the middle of replacing the tracks on a couple of kits that only BF makes. Swapping in the Zvezda tracks from a Ferdinand onto the BF Tiger Porsche, and the BT-5 tracks onto the BF BT-42. This conversion will not only help bring the vehicles into the right height with my other models, but it will also look a whole better — the molds for the metal BF tracks are quite worn out now and have very heavy pitting and flash. The Zvezda plastic pieces look so much nicer. |
