I have written an AAR based on a game session that was the first in a campaign set inte Great Northen War. The theatre is one of the less known ones outside Scandinavia, the one around the City of Trondheim in late 1718. In this first game the Swedes and the Danish/Norweigan armies fight it out around a small village. If you want to know more about it then check out the following blog: link |

Excellent AAR and impressive figs plus terrain. I could almost feel the cold. |

Thank you for your kind comments! :) The basic concept behind this game is to create a seriously chilly feeling, though most of the work was done during the hight of Summer. Guess it was a way of cooling down a bit. We have added som rules concerning snow and bad terrain. Fighting a linear battle in this rugged part of the world is kind of tricky. |

@ Gunfreak A Stabur is a must in this kind of Scenery. I suppose that is the correct word for it in Norweigan…been calling it a "häbre" on the blog. Same thing though on the other side of the mountains…. @ HG Walls: Thank you! :) |
