Do you have a tactical blindspot when wargaming (either one historical period, or consistently) that you can't seem to rectify? It tends to cost you victory. WW2 bridge assault – artillery battery, never sustained, always too hurried, leaves numerous defenders still defending! You? |

Now, if I post that answer here, my game group would use it against me. 😜 What they already know is that I tend to rush in before I have all my troops on the line. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not. But at least the game moves right along. Matthew |

I've made errors … but don't feel I have a blind spot. However I still had won and lost record at about 60/40% … |

I'm usually pretty crap about spreading my troops out too far, resulting in them fighting piecemeal. I've been trying to get better about it though. |

Cavalry. I can't command cavalry worth beans. It's become a running joke within our little gaming group. |

Mine is following any given plan on the assumption of success, and an inability to reorganize what is left of my forces after those assumptions prove false. Every. Single. Time. |

How would I know? I think that's one of Rumsfeld's unknown, unknowns. |

I would hope that if you know what it is you correct it . and if you think you don't -you most likely do have at least one and just can't recognize it(or accept the fact ) It also depends on your opponents being astute enough to see it and be able to exploit it . A bit like figuring out a pitchers tell signs for his pick-off move. most have one -its just figuring it out and taking advantage of it |

Fools rush in… When I don't stop to think first that is me, at least partly because the "enemy" just won't cooperate with my plan. |
