The sad thing about this is that actual horseholders would stay mounted. Standing on the ground, holding four horses near a combat area is asking for real trouble… let alone the general difficulty of simply holding horses that way. Actual cavalry manuals all assume mounted horse holders. It also aids in getting the mounts to the front lines quickly, rather than walking… or having the line retreat to the horses. |

Rebel – I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I thought the Zulus preferred disemboweling their foes rather than beheading them. |
