Randy and I played a game of Congo last week and I took some video giving updates through the game. I put it all together and made a video.

We played the second scenario, King of the Apes.

I hope you like it.

Your game looked nice! I watched the video. I understood how the fighting went. But not being familiar with the rules had no idea what the cards could all do and how you got them, etc. Being a Darkest Africa gamer I am VERY interested in the rules.

Thanks.

John

I have done two games solo so I had an idea of what the cards could do BUT in you next installment it would be good to explain the possibilities a bit more
Thanks agin

I'll try to explain things better in my next video.

For now, I can explain the cards here.

Each player gets a hand of 7 cards (+1 if you have a witchdoctor). Each turn the player chooses 3 of the cards to be used that turn. He gets to choose from all the cards each turn.

Each card has a symbol or two and tells you which actions you can make via that card. So a card might let you move 4 units, but none of the units can engage in close combat. Or a card can let you move a single unit and shoot with another unit.

No unit can activate more than once in each activation period.

After the end of the turn, the players collect all their activation cards and choose the 3 cards for the next turn.

I hope that helps.
