Chariot racing was recently voted as the best sport for miniature wargaming. What would be your interest level in a boxed set containing rules and chariot models? (On a scale of 0 = no interest to 10 = take my money now!)

0 – My Chariot racing itch gets scratched by the computer game Qvadriga. Very cool game.

A boxed set complete ready to play, but I could enhance by painting the figures and making better terrain for it? 10.

Yes, I think this would be very nice. I do chariot racing in 10mm and 54mm using the rules Roman Circus. I see no need for an improvement on Roman Circus, but a boxed set with chariots, the rules nicely printed (they could use a little layout work), the spine down the middle and some wrecks would be very nice.

If the rules were simple enough so I could play with my kids about an 8 or 9

I already have them. Avalon Hill's "Circus Maximus". Easily adapted for miniatures.

I remember the first time someone won a race by having their horses drag them across the finish line ahead of everyone else. We all fell down laughing.

I also remember the first time a guy crashed his chariot and stretcher bearers came out to get the wounded. I think three or four were run downed trying to get to the crash and then returning. LOL!

I had 8 25mm chariots.
I had a CAD printed track custom made for my table.
Then I sold them all off.
Not going back.

Chariot racing always seems very popular when I see it at conventions. It is a great event for showing off the hobby at non-historical gaming conventions.

10.

I've always wanted to have a quick and easy chariot game, but it seemed like it would take as much effort as starting an obscure new period, I.e. not having a single, complete line of miniatures, building a track from scratch, etc.

If someone like Mantic would do it as well as they did Mars Attacks!, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
