The A 39 is a British tank of the beginnings of the Cold War but was too wide, too heavy and not enough full of things to be really useful. JFTM Die Waffenkammer has sculpted a master in 28 mm which weighs nearly 300g.
It will also find its place in a weird British army to play Konflikt47.

That wouldn't be a game piece, it would be terrain that could shoot!

WOW !!!!! Didn't know they still had a working A-39. For 6mm, GHQ has the Wehrmacht '47 line. Which includes their AFVs that may have made it to the battlefield. And Includes their adversaries … like the A-39 and US Tortoise, etc., … link

Need one in 15mm to go with my 'Murrican T28, but the Centurion is a more useful tank.

The A-39 is the Tortoise, the T-28 had no name AFAIK. Bovington has the sole survivor of the A-39 prototypes built in mild steel and it is a runner. IIRC the US found a T-28 a few years ago and it will go on display at Patton Park, Fort Benning.

I know, I meant that the Centurion is a more useful tank than the A39.

Oh I'd like to see the T-28 "in the Flesh … err … metal" ! Wasn't there when I was at Benning … and neither was Patton Park. The ARMY Infantry and Armor Schools are now both at Benning. Its more about Combined Arms and the two operate very closely in some situations. As we know … of course ! grin
