So I designed these a few months back at a gamer's request, but because of Shapeways' pricing models, I cannot seem to get them down to a decent price point. Seriously, who is going to spend $36 USD on four 4"-long sections of fence?

So here's an offer: anyone who wants to print their own can buy a copy of the STL file from me for $1 USD (which is what I make on each product I sell through Shapeways). Then, they can print as many copies as they'd like for personal use. I just ask that no one print and sell these, which will be just on the honor system until I can figure out how to get this stupid voodoo doll to work.

So if you've been wanting worm fences in 28mm scale, you might be able to find a friend with a printer, a maker-lab, or a local printer (I know FedEx or UPS are rolling out some in their stores) and print as many as you like. These should be printable on any desktop FDM or SLS printer.

Feel free to PM me or send me an email at my Paypal address (awu2 AT cornell.edu) and I'll send you a copy of the STL file. If for some reason you need a different file format (unlikely, as STL is darn near universal), let me know and I can try to export it to a different file format.

I'm glad I saw the "n" in Fences, or this topic would have been in the toilet!

Worm's faeces would be hard to model at a 12" to the foot scale…an absolute swine for 28mm.
It's a very, very decent offer Javelin…makes me sad I made miles of fences with sticks and stuff.
