Looking for scenario or campaign books that for stand = squad and tanks are 1:1. IABSM has great publications but looking for stuff that has some higher levels of tamk participation. |

Flames of War has that stand ratio, and has tons of scenario books. Or, army lists if you prefer. |

On Wargame Vault you can buy scenario and camapign books for Rapid Fire that are easily adaptable. In RF each stand is a platoon but that makes it easy to convert to 1:1. |

Are the flames of wars scenarios…any of them historical based and do they have other than meeting engagements? |

Skirmish Campaigns are set up for individual tanks etc. The infantry is figured as individual but you can set it up however your rules work. There is a chart on the front featuring stat conversions for a number of popular sets. |

Flames of War has 6 or 8 "generic" scenarios to which you bring your army. So meeting engagement, breakthrough, hold the line and so on. With good terrain they make for good games. You can google "flames of war historical scenarios" and find a bunch on blogs and so on…. |

M26 hunting a Panther, in a German town. Video is on YouTube, I suspect. Shermans, M-10s, Cromwells, or Churchills vs. German armor in the bocage. |

Not a scenario book, not written up as a wargaming scenario, but there's certainly interesting scenario potential in this: link Some smaller-scale skirmish potential (two platoons of M3 Stuarts vs. emplaced German and Italian infantry with Semoventi da 47s and 47mm AT guns in support) in the actions of November 25, and a larger armor-vs-armor clash (two companies of M3 Stuarts + battalion HQ with 2 M3s and 3 T30 HMCs in hasty positions vs. 3 companies of German infantry advancing led by one mixed company of Pz IIIs and Pz IVs) in the actions of November 26. Article researched and drafted (ghost-written) by yours truly. -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

I don't have either but I could probably knock up something from our extensive scenario list. What is the biggest unit on the table as one side. What ground scale you use and figure scale. Do you want just tanks. I also need to know what you can cope with. Our scenarios assume. You are able to turn the turrets of individual vehicles. You have smoke to simulate smoke discharges as fitted to some vehicles. You can identify buttoned up vehicles and have rules for targeting crew of unbuttoned vehicles. You have rules for, turret down and Hull down vehicles. I can get round t his one but it helps if you have the capability to rapidly move from one pre surveyed tank position to another by a defined route. Cheers Brian |
