I've ordered the rules but they are not available here in the States. I think I would like to use this rule set to run some convention games at Millennium con and I need to post my game. First, I need some details. Is this rule set going to be a similar yet adapted game engine to Lion Rampant and Dragon Rampant? Second, how does it handle more advanced firearms, artillery and things like Gatling guns? Third, are there rule mechanics for gun boats, ships and the like? Or are all the above beyond the scope of the rules?

Thanks

Oh! I found a beta play test here. Looks promising.

And another promising beta test here:

So to answer at least some of my original questions yes to artillery and 19th century firearms. Now I just need to know about the boats.

You're a braver man than I am. I would never consider running a convention game with a ruleset I hadn't had at least six months experience with, preferably a year.

Well I have been playing Lion Rampant for over a year and if the mechanics are close then it is not as much a stretch. Plus the system is quite simple for Lion Rampant. I've been able to teach that game to folks on a number of occasions and they mostly have the game down by the end of the second turn.
