I've been cracking on with those Crusader Miniatures WWII Germans I received from North Star Military Figures a couple of weeks ago and the first thirty are ready for action, just another 30 of these and a similar amount of Soviets and I can crack on with playing some Chain of Command

I like the overall look of your early-war Germans. I too mount my "teams" in a similar manner…I think it looks better than a bunch of single base figures clumped together.

If you haven't started the Soviets yet…their will be a lot more riflemen to paint up for sure.

If you haven't seen the TFLs "Winter Storm" pint size campaign booklet, you should…covers everything your doing now.

Looking forward to your Soviets.

Take care.

Nicely done!

Nicely painted. Among other things, I like the way the shadows on the lighter sections aren't the often-seen black-hole black, but instead are more subtle.

Very nice! Great work on the variations of grey and greens.

Thanks all.

I do already have the Winter Storm book. It is a good reference but unfortunately only contains the PanzerGrenadier list and I plan to use these as Grenadiers.

Cheers.

More work on the Fall Blau project sees another 14 Germans join the platoon including a veteran Leutnant and a tripod-mounted MG-34 in support.

Getting back from our road-trip I have cracked on and finished the last fifteen Germans for the Fall Blau project.
