I have that metal nib (a set of different sizes) and some teeny-eeny paintbrushes from a nail art supply kit. I had never seen those techniques before. (I don't get my nails done!) I always thought it was pure brushwork.

I've used nail decals on shields (lots of kanji and oriental designs in just the right size) and banners before and wonder about the difference in price point between 28mm shields and fake acrylic nails …
