Hi All,

AMGAS unboxes the new plastic kickstarter for Heavy Gear Blitz!

only 10 months late… it it worth it?

Thanks for sharing, mine arrived Monday (I'm in Canada, so short trip) and other than a quick glance I haven't gone through it in detail. Not sure I like the black colour of the plastic, it seems to absorb detail in my failing eyesight. I can't read the sprue frame labels without some contrast.

I'm using mine for my own setting, sort of a mashup of anime themes, probably with other rules, but these might be ok too. I'm using older HG rules for AT Votoms.

A PDF of the rules is available too if the hardcopy wears out, or at least a draft was.

I didn't get the advert though!

Mine arrived yesterday but I haven't been able to open them yet. Woot!

"I can't read the sprue frame labels without some contrast."

Try a quick drybrush with a contrasting color (and if you have multiples of the same sprue, you only need to do one to use for reference… ;-)

Yes, that's probably what I'll do – or the old white crayon rub – if I can find a crayon!

Hmm, found I had one extra F6-16 and was missing an F2-25, have an e-mail off to DP9, hopefully can get the replacement sent to me shortly.
