The final test series set in the 2nd c. BC is posted to the blog. link I have found a renewed pleasure in using the standard 12 element game as up to this test series I played mostly the big battle option (36 elements). Aside from deploying your troops correctly there is a strategy behind placement of terrain and I may do a post with some of my observations. Many readers have enjoyed following the series with the consular army of Rome and the Seleucid in this series that I follow up with a similar programme for the Severan army of the 3rd c. AD and a separate series for the Sassanid. Cheers, Robert |
