Another strange occurrence, does the Bug abide within Search these days as well? Usually to bring up the threads I've posted on and look for new replies I go to any of the boards eg WWII discussion, then type my user name into Search and select 'authors' and hey presto there are the recent threads I've commented on. Today its not bringing up any results. Ho Hum… |

The "search" feature has only been working on/off for me for the last month, or two. Usually, late at night, around the hour of doom, so perhaps that's the issue – timing out without success, even for simple searches, e.g. one word. One I did yesterday worked fine, during the day. |

I have used google to search TMP but do use the search here as well. Worst bug (at least I assume it was) put a comment by another under me it a totally different thread. |

I always do my TMP searches through Google. Just type TMP before the item you wish to search for. Typically it comes through quite well. I haven't used the site search feature here in years. |

I should be unsurprised that The Bug is capricious, just tried again and it works fine now. The benefit of doing the search this way is that TMP search picks up my posted-on threads in more or less chronological order so this works better for me than Google. |

I'm told I don't exist if you search for me. Yet, voila! Here I am! (I think.) |

21eRegt, You think, therefore you are? I think that has been done (17th century, I believe--some chap named Descartes). |
