In fact, I didn't even know they were gone, but I went to check a review out, and the website spit out several pages of error messages! Nobody ever complained about this? Or is it on my Things to Do List and I never got to it?  Anyway, it is fixed now. Apparently during a past upgrade, a simple one-letter typo sabotaged all of the book reviews. I'm still not sure how in the world that happened! TMP link |

Where is this board located? I thought books were included in the various media boards. |

I remember this section. The reviews should have a byline. I'm guessing they're all by Editor in Chief Bill but even so they should say so. |

The reviews should have a byline. You are correct, now that we have staff, a byline would be appropriate in this and many other cases. |

Suggest also get rid of other 'dead' items… some of the stats links such as 'number of posters' are still there years after the stats themselves were stopped – would imagine it's not a major job, but looks bad having links that don't go anywhere. Also, why not either reconstruct or get rid of the 'Old Stuff' items – links back to 1999 are not that useful and any simplification of the site should be of some help. |

Since Bill didn't do it, I'll point out to the dense (like me) the location of this board: it's on the Directories section of the Table of Contents. I had to look around for a while--Bill's link doesn't give any indication. Never noticed it before. And apparently,neither did a lot of other people. |

I have been posting reviews on books I read on the appropriate era media threads, but a general book Review would work. |
