Is the next release in the Team Yankee 'verse, and its being previewed over on WWPD: link
By the 'Death or Glory Boys' I assume they are referring to the 17th/21st Lancers, who were indeed in the 3rd Armoured Div, in the 4th Armoured Bde, Munster, at the time… I have one minor niggle with the use of Lynxes in the troop carrying role, but other than that I think they've done a great job – the stats on the Chieftain seem bang on, as they've done a good job of interpreting the British concept of 'Battlefield Mobility' as 'no point being fast if you're dead'! |

Looks good, and indeed it was a Puma I fell out of on a number of occasions… |

Come for the title, stay for the stillbrew. Yeah, this has me stoked. Been listening to the Trooper in anticipation of this. |

I don't play FOW, but this tempts me. I'd consider it just to paint up a unit in the urban camo that was used in Berlin. |

Eddie in the tank commander's position? I could dig it… |

Redmist- you are welcome! I enjoy being a muse now and then, or contributing ideas to inspire people. By the way, I would love to see your results of Eddie in the turret! Share those pics! - Scott |

For buildings the Americans got a factory and oil tanks, the Germans got a farm and a fast food place, will the Brits get somewhere to buy beer? |

6 Airmobile Bde would be delivered around the battlefield with whatever was available! However as part of the Div plan not as part of one of the Battlegroups. 1 QDG, Carver Barracks, Saffron Walden 1980-87 were force Recce when deployed to Germany and would not be affiliated to any Battlegroup. The recce for the Battlegroups would come from the Recce Sqn or Support Company. Gunnerphil, a schnellie as they also sold bier! When they produce the Berlin Bde, hopefully a Mon Cherie complete with working path and Regt Plaques! Tally Ho! |

Nick was hoping for something like the Teufel Bar but would settle for the Round House |

Just seen on BF site, the Brits get a workshop, just right to keep those chieftains on the road and a shop to supply the beer. Brits defending beer supply has to be a plus! |

Well I've already played an Aussie game protecting the 'Pub with no Beer' in the Ord River region against a horde of invading Masurians…

Sorry why defend a pub with no beer? Surely that is an automatic retreat. Nice looking game. |

A the Round House, stamps or discount?! In my post above should have been working BATH not path!! Tally Ho! |

L1A1 naturally, and there are some who would say the finest rifle ever produced. I couldn't possibly comment of course. |

Apart from the inherent built in parallax error which meant you could never have a correct in-focus sight picture through both sights but had to some how de-focus your eye. And if you did not treat it right it "bit" you. Still a fantastic weapon, solid and did the job, could remove the spine from a bazooka wielding teenage at 400 yards. |
