TMP link Well August saw me attend a show and do some painting and lots of prep work due to the weather being very nice. Bought
28mm – 14 (extra French and Polish WWII) Painted
28mm – 31 (Polish and French WWII) Monthly total = +17
Yearly total = +273 Well the plan of doing more arab cavalry and mahdist cavalry never materialised due to taking it slowly with the WWII stuff but at least I am still in profit. Must try and get some of the prepped stuff done in September (mainly WWII vehicles and more Polish infantry) Plan

July was kind of a bust on the numbers, after I noted that in June I came up to even for the year. Nothing bought, lots of painting, and nothing finished, so I skipped the July update. This month has a lot of activity so the lead pile shifted around a bit. Start: 0 Sold off on TMP: +136 Bought:

The lead pile grows smaller, plus I have a bunch of stuff almost finished. I was priming a bunch of stuff yesterday, as I like to have that done before the weather turns bad, and found I have an enormous amount of stuff still to paint and assemble, not to mention the stuff I primed last year and the year before that too. I'm going to try not to buy more figures until the Black Friday sales hit, apologies to the producers in the industry. Instead I will buy some terrain and accessories for my existing forces, so the hobby dengi will get spent, just not on new figures. |

Couldn't keep up my peak painting rate from last month but I did get to a few of my Pulp Figures collection. Still positive for the year. Bought: 40 28MM (Congo!)

August was very busy in everything but the painting department – travel, summer and work. But I did manage to get some time with the brush. Started August with 249 in the pile. Painted 17 figures: 6 – Ral Partha Elven Archers (25mm)
9 – Ral Partha Elven Swordsmen (25mm)
2 – Grenadier Orcs (25mm) I also put 6 minis into the Ebay pile to be sold this week. Ended August with 226 figures in the pile. For the year, I have a net +189. SEVEN MONTHS with no purchases! But I know that shipment of Chaos Wars Wave 2 is coming… gotta paint more faster! |
