Game took about 3 1/2 hours if one excludes the waffling we are prone to :-)

Best I can say Is I would happily play either set

I suppose one could say LADG is in the vein of DBx whilst MEG has more of a FOG feel but yet both are sufficiently different from both the predessor to feel like entirely new games.
