link A little feature today on my latest edition to my 15mm SYW Armies. I have managed to get into a bit of a swing with these guys lately religiously painting up a unit every 10 days. Old Skool Essex Miniatures from the Lead mountain which is slowly getting smaller. Next up some Saxons. They even went into the field of Battle a few times rather than cluttering up the Palace. Love those Garde uniforms! You gotta have some color in the sea of white. Nice painting, too! So you think Essex mix with Blue Moon OK? Of course, I imagine the Guard got better rations than the "lower orders", anyway. . . |

Looks like "descending order of heft" to me,but that may just be due to camera angle. I like the look of the Blue Moon. Arrgh! Must. . .resist. . .! |

Nice! I did the Irish Brigade for my French SYW army for exactly the same reason as noted above- breaks up the 'sea of white" |
