Whilst googling other topics I came across substantial excerpts from two books by this author on Google Books: 'One Skin for An Overlander', and 'Firewood of the Gods'. The author appears to be a serious military and naval history buff, as both are heavily armed conflict-themed. The first is set around 1840, and largely concerns fighting between settlers and Aborigines, and the second seems to jump back and forth in time and includes bushrangers and naval actions involving pirates and buccaneers beyond Australia. |
