I would like to try some solo skirmish gaming with a 17-18th century setting. Are there any computer support available to at least partly replace rules and to create uncertainty and fast gaming? Grateful for any comments,

Check out the Mythic GME posting a few lines up.

The system works well, and no PC needed, except for perhaps downloading and printing the rules and tables.

Thanks for your comments. Both of your recommendations looks interesting. I would though like to find so ething between army battles and RPG style single combat. I was hoping there would be something for skirmishes of 50+ figures per side?

I would suggest Berthier – a free computer wargame campaign system. Can be used solo and adapted for a skirmish type game
